AGILITY PROJECT LOGISTICS is a global company which prepares surplus ex-military and commercial aviation equipment for sale into the UK and Global market.
Agility wanted AS 9120 certification to improve its bids for public sector contracts, attract new customers, and bring quality and continuous improvement to the heart of the business.
Agility recognised that quality management processes are extremely important for aerospace work. Procured parts, materials and assemblies sold to customers in the industry must be authentic products, and suppliers must provide traceability and controls of records.
I designed and developed a Quality Management System from start to finish as the company required a bespoke system to meet both the needs of the clients and the requirements of the standard.
I developed and implemented the Management System in line with AS 9120, incorporating ISO9001. I also assisted Agility with the engagement of ABS Quality Evaluations accredited certification body.
Certification was achieved within the required time frame of just 12 weeks.
